The promenade tiles that Castle Composites offer are produced from a blend of silica sand, high strength granite, top quality cement, glass fibre, and additional product enhancing additives. All of the tiles are tested internally and externally and the utmost attention is paid to the mix. This helps Castle Composites guarantee that every tile that gets delivered to you is durable and can be used in pedestrian areas with confidence.
These promenade tiles come in a wide variety of available textures and colours that allow for many different effects to be achieved in order to enhance balconies, walkways, terraces, flat roofs, and other level areas that require surfaces which are hard wearing but pleasantly finished.
A special PU Adhesive is used to lay promenade tiles. This has been specifically formulated to adhere them to felt roofs, sanded asphalt, and a variety of other surfaces effectively. The adhesive is sold in 1 litre bottles and is easily applied using the nozzle.
Castle Composites also provide a range of paving support pads that will prevent the slabs from coming into contact with the roof surface. The pads come in a variety of sizes. This system has been proven very efficient when working with surfaces that have standing water, require lower access for drainage and cables, or are just particularly uneven.
