Duratorch Torch On Felt Underlay

Supplied by JJ Roofing, these exceptional products are suitable for new builds, repairs and renovation projects and are designed with engineered durability in mind.
In fact, thanks to the ultra-strong design of these underlay felts, they are perfectly suited for high-performance built-up systems on flat, pitched and curved roofs. They are also compatible with most building and roofing materials except Hydrocarbon solvent-based products such as creosote and paraffin.
The Duratorch Torch-on Felt Underlay boasts high-temperature performance, improved weathering characteristics and a higher slump resistance to the membrane due to the Atactic Polypropylene (APP) additive. These products are also polyester reinforced, feature an outstanding tensile strength and a low-temperature flexibility of -5oC. As a result, you can expect roofing systems comprised of this underlay felt to last in excess of 20 years.
All of these products have an upper surface that has been finished with a fine silica sand, and an underside finished with a thermofusible film. Roll sizes are available in 16m lengths and are easy to cut and handle for convenient onsite use. The Duratorch Torch-on Felt Underlay is impervious to water, unaffected by pests or insects and resistant to fungi, moulds, moss, lichen and bacteria. These products are also unaffected by sudden temperature shifts, e.g. freezing/ thawing.
Plus, with the handy addition of lap security, your roof will be enhanced with maximum wind resistance. This is especially useful in storms where high wind speeds could easily damage a less secure rooftop.
