The Acme Double Camber Eaves/Top Tile by Marley is a machine made visually appealing roof tile that offers texture, shade, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. This tile’s unique double curve gives the project designer a chance to create a textured roofscape with accentuated shades and light.
Eave tiles make up the lowest row of tiles at the fascia board. This provides the double lap for the first row of full tiles. The lower edges of the Acme Double Camber Eaves/Top Tile by Marley and the first row of full tiles should be the same.
The top row of tiles at the ridge should also be made up of the Acme Double Camber Eaves/Top Tile by Marley to provide the next row down with a double lap. The top edge of the second row needs to be at a level where it will be covered by the ridge tile.
Marley is currently the only UK manufacturer to offer a clay double camber plain tile making this the perfect choice if you want your home to be truly unique. These tiles are reliable and durable having been made from the highest quality Etruria Marl (a special red clay from the Midlands).
